We bought a different video monitor when our baby was first born but ended up returning it due to the interference and static-y audio. Recently, we moved our 9-month old into her own room, and we wanted to get a video monitor to see what she was doing. So we took a look at what else was available in terms of video monitors, and stumbled on this product.
The Home Sentry is much better than any other video monitor we tried. The infrared camera does a great job, and the quality of the picture and length of the battery life is great. It is fun to watch her roll over in bed... and on the screen it looks like it's the middle of the day.
The only thing we wish is that there was a mode where the audio stayed on all the time... it turns on whenever there's any notable sound, but my wife likes to listen to our daughter breathe, so she uses this video monitor along with the always-on Safety First audio monitor as well.
Anyway, this is a great product. Don't hesitate to buy it. We love it. |

| I have 3 children and we had a different monitor every time. I am glad that we found this product. There is no interference, it works in pitch black as well as in bright light, and the volume doesn't have the buzzing sound unless a noise is present in the room. I recently purchased the top of the line product at babies r us and returned it the next day. They are missing the boat by not carrying this product by Baby Safe. |

I purchased the Home Sentry Interference Free Digital Monitor From Safe Baby almost 9 months ago after purchasing and returning the Graco IMonitor. I have been using it, with satisfaction, since I got it. My house is 2000 sq. ft. and all my interior walls are insulated, which I am assuming makes for challenging reception, yet I have no problem with reception in my room all the way across the house from my daughter's. I do have challenges when I take it outside the front of the house as her room is in the back corner. I have black out curtains in my daughter's bedroom and can see her very clearly day and night. There is a very short delay, 1 maybe 2 seconds, but that is much less than any other monitor I've experienced.
Before making my purchase with The Pegasus Shop I called, and spoke to Len, to get clarification on their return policy (I had major challenges with jr-moviesale returning the Graco IMonitor). I was very excited to be doing business with someone who was so helpful and stands behind his product.
I would highly recommend the Home Sentry Baby Monitor and The Pegasus Shop. |

I did a LOT of research before purchasing this baby monitor. I have owned this for 11 months now and it has certainly lived up to their promises. It works great - in the dark I am even able to tell whether or not the baby's eyes are open!

| I just received this monitor with the 2 cameras. With it came a nice letter from the manufacturer saying to call with any problems. The cameras were already registered to the monitor so setting it up was as easy as plugging it in. I had trouble getting the monitor off the scan mode so I called the number and was immediately connected to the President of the company who walked me through it. What a refreshing experience of true customer service! |

| We purchased this monitor when we moved our 6 month old to his own room. We couldn't be happier with the monitor. It has no audio interference. We can see our son clearly with the lights out thanks to the night vision. With the lights on the picture is crisp and clear. We have recommended it to all our friends with young children. I researched all the other digital monitors and we live in a neighborhood full of children and I didn't want my child on someone else's monitor or vice versa. This monitor has had none of those issues. I would absolutely buy this monitor again. Worth every penny of the cost. |

| I was very leary about purchasing a video baby monitor on - line. However; to my pleasant surprise, I was VERY impressed with this monitor from the moment I took it out of the box!!! I like the hand held size and the crisp picture. Because I have a lot of neighbors with babies, I was worried about interference, rest assured there was none! I would have no hesitation to recommend this product to all of my friends who are just starting to have babies! |

| I was very pleased with this video monitor - great color and sound clarity. Simple to set up and operate, and it doesn't require a second morgage to finance... but the truely great thing about this product is the customer service. The good folks at The Pegasis Shop are OUTSTANDING. If you call, it is a real person who answers the phone - and that same person who will probably address your consern - quickly, professionally, pleasantly. I was really impressed with these guys and I bet you will be too. |

| I bought this baby monitor about three months ago for my sister as a baby shower gift. She really wanted a digital monitor that would give her a clear picture. I have to admit I was a bit hesistant to buy online. The proof is in the pudding...she loves it! It's very clear and has no interference. Even the night vision is great. Since then, I know two other people who have bought one and had similar success. As a future mom myself, I have already put one down for my wish list! |

So, we were renovating our large, empty, upstairs attic to become a master suite, a nursery, and a studio. I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to hear the baby, and thus I bought this monitor.
I should begin with a caveat that we discovered later that I can hear him just fine, and technically we didn't really *need* the monitor. I love it though! We'd been talking about whether we were jumping to retrieve the boy too fast when he cried - perhaps he was just crying a bit in bed and might go back to sleep if left alone? The monitor showed us that he wakes first, gets out of bed, and when he can't get the door open, stands there and cries for help. I'd have felt awful if I'd just left him there crying for freedom, hoping or guessing that he might go back to sleep if left alone. What a releif to know what's going on in there without invoking the observer-affects-the-observed paradox! I also get a huge kick out of watching the boy sleep.
Anyway, the picture I find is quite good, and the monitor camera has withstood a couple bumps and falls which are the natural effect of being left in a room with a toddler. I live in a very urban area, so the lack of interference was of paramount importance to me and I have not been disappointed. The sound quality is also quite good compared to the monitors my friends have used. The monitor camera is located in the 3rd floor nursery and the reciever can get good reception on the first and second floors, and passable but spotty reception in the basement.
I'm very pleased with this purchase, and expect to use it at an upcoming hotel convention, so that I might attend panels during naptimes without guilt. |

I was quite sceptical about the claim that this monitor was guaranteed free from interference. But, I was desperate for a handheld video monitor that would actually work. Well, was I ever pleasantly surprised. Not only did the monitor live up to its description it has more functionality than any of the other monitors we bought, tried, and eventually returned. We see a great picture, hear our baby, and do not have to worry about neighbors seeing our child or we seeing theirs.
I absolutely recommend this monitor to anyone looking for a hassle free, reliable baby monitor. Consider the price and it's a no brainer. |

We decided to try this digital monitor after buying and returning 3 "analog" systems. We were so pleasantly surprised that we actually jumped for joy. After taking a few minutes to "register" the camera so it synched with the monitor we immediately got a beautiful picture of our baby and did not have to suffer through static noise and a picture that came in and out. And, we stopped getting a picture of our neighbor's baby.
Digital is the only way to go and this Safe Baby Monitor is the best we found. Highly recommended. |

What more could you ask for? I can't believe someone gave them a bad review because the product is made in China. Where do you think most products are made? They are only as good as the name of the company; just like products made in the U.S. Any company that stands by their products 100% with a completely satisfied guarantee is aces with me! |

Short version:
Wonderful product! My wife and I have been using it for 3 months now with our firstborn. It REALLY is an interference-free wireless monitoring system. Doesn't cause any problems for my 2.4GHz home wireless network and the picture is always crisp and clear. Also, the company has provided great customer service from the beginning, from instructional support to helpful advice. I would definitely recommend this product and I look forward to future purchases from Safe Baby.
Long version:
I searched and scoured the internet for a month looking for a digital video baby monitor system that wouldn't interfere with my 2.4GHz wireless network or my cordless phone system. I was at a loss, with no option other than upgrading my home network to Wireless-N and my cordless phone to 6.0. Then I stumbled across this product, and after 3 months of use my wife and I are still VERY pleased with it. The price is also very compatible, if not cheaper than most other non-interference-free video monitors.
At first, I was a bit skeptical about the company and the product, because I had never heard about Safe Baby in all my gearing up as a new parent and there was literally NO other "interference free" wireless video monitor available from any other company. I thought it might be an advertising scam, or a play on words. I've since discovered that Safe Baby is a small family-run company based in Rhode Island, and the product uses a frequency-jumping technology to eliminate interference with existing 2.4GHz systems. The product does, in fact, work like a charm and I repeat, creates ABSOLUTELY NO INTERFERENCE with other 2.4GHz devices. (I know I keep repeating this, but I really didn't believe it until I saw it for myself).
The fact that Safe Baby is a smaller company may make other customers worried about the level of service/support that is available to them. Well let me tell you, the customer service Safe Baby provides is fantastic! After many years dealing with big retailers, automated phone systems, and lengthy technical support calls, it's so refreshing to be able to call the customer service phone # and actually get a person on the other line of the phone right away. Safe Baby has been nothing short of excellent in the level of support they have provided my wife and I. Even when I was purchasing the product, I had questions about the "interference-free" claims (again, I was skeptical at first). Safe Baby was very helpful and thorough in answering any and all questions I had, and even guaranteed that if I wasn't happy with the product at any time I could return it for a full refund.
Bottom line:
If you're the type of person that needs to buy a more expensive product from a large manufacturer (where you're just a number on a piece of paper) in order to feel warm and fuzzy about your purchase, then perhaps this monitor isn't for you. I've been down that road with Graco, Babies 'R Us, and some other baby brands and can speak from personal experience that it isn't a pleasant experience when you need help from them.
But if you're the type of person that enjoys getting a quality product for less $$$, while also receiving an excellent level of personal customer service that a smaller company offers, then you should definitely purchase the Home Sentry by Safe Baby. |
