I made my homework and read reviews about all the baby monitor's I found, before picked this one. I had a doubt because of unknown producer. But now, after two weeks of this product use, I'm happy with my choice.
I mounted the camera over baby's crib. So when we are watching TV in a basement, or on a kitchen etc. we always know how is our baby doing. When baby wakes up, the monitor wakes up too, and you can see and hear your baby.
Pros:
- clear video, no interference with wi-fi;
- clear voice (hence it wakes up with a click);
- internal rechargeable battery in both the camera and the monitor;
- can be powered from AC adapters (2 included) and even USB (I don't USB, but good option; read reviews of alternative products - some of them could be AC-powered too, but you should remove batteries every time);
- zoom (I don't use it ether);
- small and lightweight.
Cons:
- one camera (now I don't need the second, but may be in the future, on the producer web they promise upgrade software for multi-cams);
- night infrared light shines in a small spot - not all the visible area is covered (unless you use zoom);
- wall mount for camera is fixed, you cannot use it if you often change place of the camera.
The producer's return policy (as stated on it's web) is two weeks only (from shipping!). But if you buy it here in Amazon - it's Amazon's return policy. This is why I tried it. I would recommend it to my friend.
Great baby cam!

I have been through other cameras and the interference was terrible. I was unsure about buying this due to the lack of reviews, so let me be the 1st to say this was well worth the money. Great product, no interference.
everything works as it should and I'm very pleased I can stop searching for a baby monitor.

The only "con" is the mounting system, It's not very flexible, you can mount it to the wall i guess, but i would have preferred a clip based system where i could clip it on the edge of the crib or dresser or something. But it's a small gripe and amounts to personal preference.

I have a 2 story house and the hand held unit traveled down to the basement without problem and WITHOUT any interference.
perfect signal.
it's on right now with the doors closed and the blinds shut, so the night vision is working great as well..

If you are searching for one, don't be afraid to give this one a try, we are very pleased with it!
Great!

At first I had a "pairing" issue, the video monitor couldn't find the camera. I sent an email to customer service and got a response in a couple of hours(!) with instructions for pairing that were slightly different than the manual. This baby monitor works fantastic, the video quality is great, battery life is long and has a very strong range. On a 2 story home with concrete walls, WiFi routers and 2 other cordless phones, it has zero signal loss from one side to the other. Comes with 2 power adaptors, both the same and have a green light on it so you know if they work or not. It even has a USB jack and cable to charge the camera from a computer. Looks like a well thought out and quality product. I never heard of this brand before but I took my chances and worked out great. Highly recommended.
Nice baby video monitor

I bought the Graco imonitor Digital Baby monitor Graco imonitor Digital Color Video Baby Monitor and was pretty unhappy with the volume sound quality and the freezing of the video.

This Zopid system for the same price is 10x better. The picture quality is quite good in both color and night mode. It is easy to see what is going on. The sound is clear and understandable, though there is a half second delay so if you can actually hear the baby and the monitor it messes with you a bit. You get used to it.

The form factor is good and the included rechargeable batteries are a nice touch.

I have both wifi and 900 mHz phones and it does not mess with either of them, nor does it seem affected by them.

My only complaint is that there is no dedicated volume control on the receiver, you have to navigate into it with a few clicks of some buttons ... kind of slows you down if you are trying to turn it down in a hurry.

The camera mount is a little utilitarian (not pretty) but it offers several possibilities for positioning the camera. I've seen better mounts out there, but this one will do (though you may have to put some screws in).

My order handled through Amazon shipped rapidly. I ordered it Sunday and received it Friday.
Skeptical at first but turned out excellent!

Reviewer: Cong Nguyen,
We recently got a baby monitor system as a gift from our baby shower. As soon as we turned it on we were surprised to see that there was someone else's baby on the screen. After doing a google search we found that that particular system was working on 900Mhz, which was not secure. We quickly decided to return the item for security concerns.

After doing research online we found this ZOpid-Interference set on Amazon. With limited reviews online about this product we were skeptical to purchase it, however, we decided to go forward thanks to Amazon's return policy. This product has secure video, the reception for voice is clear, and even has a zoom feature which is very useful. My only con about this product is that when the monitor is on the plastic casing kinda lights up from the sides... it's only noticeable at night but not something that is major. Other than that excellent product.

I've read all reviews and decided this one would be the best.

I am very happy with the picture. It is very clear and as I am watching an elderly person it works well.

There is interference with the microwave, it blinks on and off but I don't use a microwave for more than a few minutes so it really doesn't matter. There is no other interference and we have IPODS, laptops, cell phones, computers and a Blackberry.

Reception is very good through many levels of the house. The sound could pick up more but at the same time I was pleased that it doesn't pick up the TV. My Mother leaves the TV on all night and I can't sleep with it. Somehow it picks up her voice. If she called me or drops something I hear it right away, and I can always see her. Any new sound entering the room is heard.

It has nice timing features for the night so the light doesn't shine in our room. When I wake I just push the button and can see her and then it will automatically turn off at the time I set, like 60 seconds or 15 if I want that time.

Zoom buttons work but you can't pan around a room you would need to move the camera. It does zoom in and left or right and I am working with an adult who can move herself some, if it was a baby there is no problem.

I read that it is cheap plastic but expecting that it isn't too bad as buttons on others I've seen are much cheaper.

I would recommend this monitor to a friend especially with a baby. It would work well with a crib or playpen area, and I am pleased with it for watching for the safety of my mother.
Worth every penny for my serenity

This video monitor has been great! We had a little difficulty in the beginning because the first camera would not link up to the monitor. However, customer service was very helpful and shipped the new camera to us in record time. I was so paranoid about moving the baby from his bassinet (which was in our room) to the crib (which was in the baby's room.) I knew the only way I could have peace of mind was if I could see that he was okay, and this system has allowed me to do just that. I have not had problems with the screen freezing up, nor have I had any problems with sound interference. The only minor problem I have had is with the screen going black for about a second and then coming back on. This can happen several times for the duration that I have the monitor on. However, there are other times when it does not do that. Overall, I am very, very happy with this system and definitely recommend it to other parents.
Great Camera! Worth every penny.

About 4 years ago we bought the Summer video and audio monitor, which was pretty bad. Big, bulky, poor display, and horrible, loud static. You practically had to stand on your head to find that low static sweet spot, and then the dog would walk by and the unit would start hissing again...

About two years ago we upgraded the Summer monitor with Safety 1st Interference Free 2.4 GHz monitor, I think it was the first of its kind. Well, the static issue was solved, we kept the video on at all times, so there was a little hissing, but nothing like the Summer monitor. But the display on the Safety 1st monitor was tiny, night vision was very fuzzy, and it was pretty quiet. There were a couple of times the kids managed to get up and walk out of the room without us hearing it on the monitor. That issue aside, the rechargeable Ni-MH battery started slowly loosing charge, and the camera would only run unplugged for about 2 minutes, before it started beeping. So we just kept the monitor always plugged in, annoying, but after spending $200+ on the unit, had to make it work. Then, about a year and a half into our ownership of the Safety 1st camera, the display started having issues, it would turn different colors, and we spent months banging on the unit to try to get the image just right. Well six months after that, the unit just went black, and stopped working. So, we had to go back to the clunky loud Summer monitor (to the its credit, it still works! even after living in the garage for almost two years)

Anyway, now we have purchased the ZOpid unit! It is awesome! The display is HUGE, and my kids are so clear on the camera at night. The unit itself is very pretty and light and QUIET (as in no hissing at all) ! On the camera itself there is a tiny green blinking light, not obtrusive at all. (The Safety 1st Unit, had a huge pulsating green on/off button on the front of the camera, and we had to cover half the camera with black electrical tape to stop it from being distracting at night.) We had absolutely no issues with set up, everything worked straight out of the box, the menu is very easy to navigate, and user friendly. I like the fact that the unit can be updated with firmware if need be. Best of all ZOpid came with LITHIUM ion rechargable battery, finally a company that did not cheap out on the battery!
gem item, works great

Reviewer: Jonathan Berkowitz,
I didn't go through a bunch of monitors before, but it was pretty obvious that there were major flaws in the other ones out there. Living in NYC, there is a crap load of interference - I can see at least 10 wireless networks in my apt. This works great, albeit my apt is a bit small. But once I used it at my parents house in the burbs without difficulty. It doesn't take down my 2.4 ghz network, though it weakens it a bit. The night vision is great. Biggest issue is that it feels pretty cheap; I feel one bad fall and the thing will fall into a million pieces. If it does, I will update this, but I've had it 2 weeks and am very happy - no update means that it has outlasted my need for it.
Great product!

I spent hours looking at reviews and researching which video monitor to purchase, and I was nervous when I made my choice. I revieved my ZOpid yesterday, and know that I have made the correct choice (I am watching it right now). I had heard that most video monitors have poor audio, however the ZOpid audio is quite clear- the video is also very clear considering the type of product it is (in the manual it says that the video is not all that clear, however, last night I was able to see that my son's eyes were open while the camera was in night vision mode). While it is not like watching high-def TV- the ZOpid certainly meets my needs. I will update this review should I run into problems in the future.

This is a great video baby monitor. I purchased 2 other brands and sent them both back. I was determined to have a video monitor so kept looking and came across this one. Seemed to have great reviews so went ahead and bought it. I'm not disappointed at all. It is great! We mounted it on the wall so we can see right into the crib. The screen is a decent size and the night vision works perfect. There is no interference and I like that you can zoom in on the baby. The baby is not here yet. Due any day but if you have tried other monitors and can't seem to find one you like. Try this one. It works great for us! The first brand I got had awful interference but a great picture. Who wants to listen to static all the time. The 2nd one did not have interference but the picture was not good the night vision was awful and the signal would come and go. This monitor is perfect!
Great Monitor

Reviewer: K. McCauley,
I am very impressed with this monitor. I have had no negative issues with it. It does exactly what I wanted it to do - show me a good picture of my son while he is sleeping in another room. I love that there is no interference from other electronics in our house. We run wireless internet and other items. There is also NO static sound in the back ground. It is completely quite, unless baby moves or makes a noise. I can set the volume, and after playing around with it last night, I found out I can zoom in too. Great! I would strongly recommend this product. No more tip-toeing in to see if baby is OK, only to wake him up while checking on him. This is our fourth child, and I don't know how I lived with out this monitor with our 3 previous children.
My research paid off

I did a lot of research on baby monitors, and it seemed that there was at least one major flaw with all of them. At one point I decided not to get a video monitor for that reason. I found the Zopid on Amazon, and read the reviews. I was a bit concerned about some of the issues - warranty, battery life, etc. I contacted the company before I purchased, and they wrote back within an hour totally allaying my fears about returnability if there was a defect. They answered questions I had about the monitor very quickly and thoroughly.

I purchased the monitor and it is great. The picture is amazing. The baby's room is so dark (even at nap times) that for 2 months I did not realize/remember that the monitor is in color when it is not in night vision mode. It is amazing how the monitor does not pick up background noise. We have a sound machine that makes the sound of waves, and the volume gets louder and softer, but the monitor seems to know that this is not "baby noise" that needs to be broadcast. I only wish the monitor had some sort of clip so it could be moved around more easily (for traveling, etc.). Also, the idea of having a bright green light on the camera, which shines on my daughter's face, is a design flaw, but can easily be covered up. Also, unlike some of the other monitors, I love that the volume can be adjusted by just hitting the buttons on the side - no need to scroll through menus. That said, the software seems quite outdated and a little cumbersome. Also, we live in Manhattan in a building with lots of tenants, and the monitor is truly "interference free" as promised.

We did have an issue with the battery, however. The charge did not hold. I emailed customer service and they wrote back immediately with some steps to try. They seemed to help, but the battery did not last 3 hours as promised. So I contacted them again, and 6 weeks after I purchased the monitor, they are replacing it (hassle-free) due to some apparent problems they have had with the pins not touching the battery properly. Customer service was extremely nice - wrote back immediately (i.e. within 10 minutes), said they would send a prepaid envelope to return the old monitor at the same time they sent me the new one.
Great Product, Outstanding Customer Service

Reviewer: Sammy Willoughby,
I have been using this product for almost a year now and would purchase another one today if I had to. I am actually going back and adding this comment due to the latest customer service received. I recently had to contact customer service concerning a warranty issue. I was sent an RMA number with instructions and information about the return. To my surprise the turnaround was about a week. I received a new monitor as well as new firmware on both cameras and monitor. I took everything out of the box and it was already setup for use. How easy was that! My method of contact was via email and the responses were very timely and professional. I had actually contacted this company a while back asking about a personal issue I had with the unit and was told that it would be addressed in the next firmware. Yeah right I said. I've heard that one before. Again to my surprise, the new firmware had addressed the issue. How unbelievably awesome is that!! It's so odd to find a company with this level of customer service so I'm still a little blown away. How could you not recommend this product. I think it recommends itself, given the chance.

This monitor is exactly what I was looking for in caring for my 80 yr old mother. I need to know if she is just turning over or actually trying to get out of bed. This monitor allows me to do just that. I have a split level condo, and this device helps eliminate needless trips down the stairs! The picture is clear, and I can hear her if she calls out for help or needs anything. I would not hesitate to recommend this monitor.
